Introduction

Each individual is unique, and diversity is fundamental aspect of human existence. Learners can differ in their personality traits, values and beliefs, cultural backgrounds, skills, talents, cognitive abilities, life experiences, hobbies and interests.  All these things have either direct or secondary impact on foreign language learning, but the most important differences affecting the foreign language learning process are the age of the learners, their motivation, personality and learning styles, and language levels.
