Natural Order Hypothesis

The Natural Order hypothesis states that we tend to acquire the language in a predictable, i. e. natural order. Some rules, therefore, tend to be acquired early while some others late. This order, according to Krashen, seems to be independent of the learner’s age, native language, and conditions of exposure to the second language.
