Innative Theory

Innative theory and Krashen’s hypotheses gave rise to the Natural Approach to second language acquisition which has been widely used since 1980s. This teaching method emphasizes natural language acquisition in the classroom setting with the focus on communication and minimal use of conscious grammar study and correction of student errors. After receiving a sufficient amount of comprehensible input, students are encouraged to naturally and spontaneously develop the language output.
